My typical proofreading turnaround is as follows:

Up to 12,500 (50 pages): 5 days or less

Up to 25,000 words (100 pages): 8 days or less

Up to 50,000 words (200 pages): 14 days or less

Up to 75,000 words (300 pages): 18 days or less

Up to 100,000 words (400 pages): 26 days or less

This time frame is fairly accurate, but keep in mind that if a manuscript needs an extreme number of corrections on every page, I may need more time (in which case I’ll let you know). Conversely, a near-perfect manuscript shouldn’t take as long.

Note: I do typically book in advance, so keep that in mind when requesting to schedule a proofreading slot.
